 About War Bonds (WARB)

War Bonds (WARB) is a community experiment token launched on the Base network.
It’s a standard ERC-20 style token with a fixed supply and small built-in fees.

Quick facts:

  • Name: War Bonds

  • Symbol: WARB

  • Network: Base

  • Type: ERC-20 style token

  • Total Supply: 100,000,000,000 WARB

  • Minting: No new tokens can be minted after launch

  • Contract: 0xDb0B019CC17B4f393629E46221F390c2C246b06e

This is a high-risk experimental coin. Do not put in more than you are willing to lose.

🔹 Fees and how they work

Every trade has small fees built into the contract:

  • Buy fee: ~0.03% goes to a fee wallet

  • Sell fee: ~1.25% goes to a fee wallet

  • Dividend fee: ~0.01% goes into a “dividend pool”

The contract has a hard cap so total fees cannot exceed 3% in total.

There is also a dividend system:

  • A small part of the taxed trades goes into a dividend pool inside the contract.

  • The contract has a function to distribute that pool to holders based on their token balances.

This is not guaranteed income, and distributions depend on:

  • Trading activity

  • Whether someone actually calls the distribution function

  • Gas fees and conditions on Base

🔹 Important safety notes

Here’s what the contract does NOT do (based on how it was built):

  • ❌ No infinite mint button after launch

  • ❌ No “can never sell” honeypot trick in the transfer logic

  • ❌ No blacklist built into normal transfers

Here’s what people still need to understand:

  • ✅ This is not an audited contract

  • ✅ Contract verification on the explorer is not finished

  • ✅ Liquidity and market conditions can change at any time

  • ✅ The owner wallet may still have certain control functions (like setting fees within the cap, setting pairs, or excluding addresses from fees)

TL;DR:
This is an experimental crypto project. It can go to zero. No promises, no guarantees.

🔹 Big warnings (put this clearly on your page)

You can literally paste this as a section:

⚠️ Big Risk Warning

  • This token is a high-risk experiment.

  • The contract is currently not verified on the block explorer, even though it is fully deployed and running.

  • There is no audit, and no guarantee of safety, profit, or future value.

  • Only use money you can afford to lose 100%.

  • Crypto is volatile. If you don’t understand what you are doing, please do not buy this token.

Nothing here is financial advice.

🔹 Simple FAQ for WARB

Q: Is WARB safe?
A: WARB is an experimental token. There is no audit, no guarantee, and the contract is not yet verified on the explorer. It may be safer than some scam coins (no obvious mint/blacklist honeypot tricks), but it is still very high risk.

Q: Can more WARB be created later?
A: No. The supply was minted at launch and there is no normal function to mint new tokens after that.

Q: Why isn’t the contract verified?
A: Verifying a contract on the block explorer requires matching the original code and compiler settings exactly. That process is technical and easy to mess up. The contract is still live and running — verification is about transparency, not whether the token exists.

Q: Does this mean the coin is broken?
A: No. The coin works. People can still trade it. The verification issue is on the “explorer side,” not on the “chain side.”

Q: Should I put a lot of money into WARB?
A: No. This is a high-risk experiment. You should never put more into any experimental token than you are fully prepared to lose.

Q: Is this financial advice?
A: No. This is not financial advice. Always do your own research and make your own decisions.
